First in Europe: Aerobatic Flight microgravity platform available in Catalonia
Catalonia starts an innovative approach to microgravity experiments through the use of readily available aerobatic flights in the Sabadell Airport.
The UPC Centre de Recerca Aeronŕutica i Espacial (CRAE) has opened an Announcement of Opportunity (AO) for researchers, students and companies interested in conducting experiments in microgravity through aerobatic flights.
This is an innovative approach to microgravity research platforms -first in Europe- that thanks to this UPC initiative, supported by BAIE and the Aeroclub Barcelona-Sabadell via the signature of a Collaboration Agreement among these three institutions, is now available in the Sabadell Airport (30 minutes drive from Barcelona) for all interested researchers.
